Just past Bergdorf's on 57th between 5th and Madison, you'll stumble upon Miu Miu, Chanel and Dior stacked in a row. I'm usually a little timid about going in stores like these in the same way I don't want celebrities to catch me staring at them. Unless I have something to say, or in this case, intent to splurge, I prefer to soak up the window displays, hoping for a little inspiration to work its way into my wardrobe. Besides, walking in opens the possibility of an encounter with a snooty salesperson, which would totally ruin the moment of lust.
As for Chanel's storefront, they are currently showing off all the clogs that hit the runway in the SS10 collection. I got a western debutante meets prairie girl sort of vibe. It's not really my style, but I've been drawn toward pieces that could easily fall into this category. Not sure if you'll see me sport the clog trend, but I'm a little partial to Miu Miu's offerings at the moment. What about you? Sent from my mobile
